Welcome to Good Life Leisure
Much Dewchurch Cottages lie 5 miles from the cathedral city of Hereford, with good shops, theatre, cinema, leisure centre and horse racing courses and 9 miles from the market town of Ross-on-Wye in the heart of the Wye Valley. Positioned in the grounds of the main farmhouse in the peaceful surroundings of 230 acres of fields, woodland and lakes, perfect for long rambling walks, there are four lovely holiday cottages that have been converted from the old Scudamore racing stables with panoramic views of the Black Mountains. They are situated overlooking the beautiful, tranquil village of Much Dewchurch with a cider farm next door and the local 14th century pub only 5 minutes’ walk, many other pubs, restaurants and shops nearby.
With golf, horse riding, fishing canoeing and many more activities at hand. For a great get away to rural England, Herefordshire offers a wonderful opportunity. Very convenient for Hay-on-Wye, famous for its literary festival, Ludlow with fine food, Brecon and the Forest of Dean for walks and cycling and Cheltenham with its famous race course and shops. Visit castles, historic houses and ancient churches. Shop in the market town and take a little of Hereford back home. Shops are only 11/2 miles away and pubs 1/2 mile away.
